She is survived by: her children, Leonard Carter (Shalonda) of Niagara Falls, Donald Carter of Niagara Falls, Terance Booze of Niagara Falls, DeMario Rodgers of Niagara Falls and Dannise Elie of Niagara Falls; her siblings, Katherine "Kitty" Carter of Niagara Falls, Debbie Ann Carter of Niagara Falls, Catrina Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri, Thorton Sorrell Carter (Kimberly) of Houston and Willie L., Jr. Carter (Cynthia) of Newport News, Virginia.; and her close friends, Dot Payne and Lulu Billups. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
