He was predeceased by: his parents, Molly [May] Carpenter and John Nielsen; and his sister Melissa Nielsen. He is survived by: his close friend Diana Brundage; his children, Mackenzie Benham (Andrew), Morgan Maynard (Joshua), Stefan Brundage, Justin and Victoria Beyer; his grandchildren, Taylor, Liam, Sawyer, Emma, Amelia and Nakia; his stepfather Charles Carpenter; and his siblings, Scott Nielsen (Stephanie), Michael Carpenter, Eric Olivero, Jeanne Carpenter, Sherry (Tom), Robin and Stacey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc. (901 Cayuga St, Lewiston, NY 14092-1734). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
