It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen J. Montoro of Niagara Falls, New York, born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Peightal and Norma Peightal (Erb); her husband Andrew Montoro; her grandmother YooHoo; and her brother Preston Peightal Jr. (late Alice).
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Vanone (Rick), Richard Jones (Lori), Michael Montoro (Paula) and VincentMontoro; her grandchildren, Krista Puzan (Larry), Richard Vanone, Phillip Barbic (Tanya), Megan Linton (Rob), Benjamin Jones, Jillian Latchford (Chris), Andrew Montoro (Kayla), Vincent Montoro (Stephanie) and Christina Montoro; and also Mary Susan Montoro. She is also survived by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hope United Methodist Church (2914 Upper Mountain Rd, Sanborn, NY 14132). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory would be gratefully accepted at Hope United Methodist Church or Niagara Hospice, Inc. 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
