He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Zimmerman and Angelina Zimmerman (DiPoula); and his sister Cheryl "Sherrie" Henry (Nelles, Sr.). He is survived by: his children, Sonny Zimmerman, Chero Morgan and Carl Zimmerman, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Mike, Sonny "Beans", Kyle, Kobe, Kole, Allyssa, Mikael and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Eiden, Elora, Jayden and Jahlani; and his siblings, Gary Zimmerman, Gerald Zimmerman and Deborah Catanese (late Edward). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
