He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Catherine and Helen Catherine (Centofanti); his son Anthony L. Catherine; and his siblings, Theodore'Ted' Catherine (Ruby) and Charlene Heller.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Catherine (Michelle) and Tonya Catherine; his grandchildren, Narissa Renford, Trista Catherine, Chloe Catherine, Colin Catherine, Thea Catherine, Marlon Anthony Catherine, Kal-El Renford and Naiyera Renford; his close friend Donna Westerman; his sister Carla Torrey (James); and also Andi Syphers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
