She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Lue Bennie Ray; her spouse Willie West; her children, Dorothy Brundidge (Bruce), Janice, Germaine Anthony (David), Requal, Jasmaine, Lorenzo and Antwine West; her sister Shirley Bell; her godchild Daron Bell; her daughters, Kathy and Mary "Pam" West; and her siblings, Dollie Jessie and McKinley Battle. She was also cherished by stepbrothers, stepsisters, stepchildren, grandchildren, great, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
