Though Alaina may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Allen and Betsy Schmitz (Hodgkiss); and her stepfather John Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Saeed Khan; and her siblings, Denise Robins (Dan), Claudia Lawson (Mike), Dawn Schmitz and John Schmitz (Kendra).

Donations in her memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
