Charles Kent Downey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2023, at the age of 86, Charles Kent Downey of Newton Falls, New York, born in Ogdensburg, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Todd Downey and Robin Downey; his siblings, Rod Downey and Linda Cole; his parents, Charles Henry and Thelma Downey (Clark); and his wife Agnes Mae LaJoy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Griffith (Daniel) of Ogdensburg, Ginger Downey of Ogdensburg and Wendy Charlton (Nelson); his sister Jo-Ella Freeman of Ogdensburg, NY; and his close friend Eleanor Sears. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
