He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rickard and Gladys Rickard (Nellis); his wife Helen Fritts; his son Gary Rickard; and his brothers, John, Francis and Glenn Rickard.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Postol (Stanley), Carl Rickard (Patty), Ronald Rickard (Sara) and Darla Krull (Tom); his daughter-in-law Kathryn Rickard; and his sister-in-law Susan Rickard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
