Richard H. Mock Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2020, at the age of 63, Richard H. Mock of Newport, New York, born in Herkimer, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Bud" and Patsy Mock (Chaffee); and his daughter Heather J. Mock. He is survived by: his wife Michelle LaBarge; his siblings, Sheri Stubba (William) of Poland, Lawrence Mock, Edward Mock of Newport and Christopher Mock (Charlene); his half-sister Michelle Smith-Lewis (Jon) of Seattle, WA; his stepdaughters, Cyrece Mahardy (Matthew) of Dolgeville and Angelyca Nowak-McKinney (Michael) of Little Falls; his aunts, Marcia Wright of Frankfort and Judy Chaffee of Utica; his uncle Gary Chaffee (Carol); and his grandchildren, Hailey Kwiatkowski, Caiden Trask, William, Claire, Dominick Mahardy, Abel, Lennon, Rozlyn Nowak-McKinney, Mason, Callen and Lincoln Chavis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours at the Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport, are Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 p. m. Please wear a face covering and understand that social distancing and capacity protocols will be in place due to current restrictions. Memorial services and inurnment in Newport Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the West Canada Valley Music Department.
