It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John J. Patti of Newport, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Patti and Ruth Patti (Hillier). He is survived by: his son Andy; his wife Joyce Kochan (Johnson); his children, Andrew Patti (Karen) of Cupertino, CA, Christine Lynch (Bill) of Raleigh, NC, Nick Patti and Maryanne Patti of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Matt Kochan (Jan) of Barneveld, Kimberly Farrell (Tim) of Herkimer, Stephanie Clarke (Scott) of Newport, Kate Morgan (Bob) of Mohawk, Julie Smith (Mike) of Newport and Amy Roepnack (Kyle) of Ilion; and his grandchildren, Zach, Kaylene Patti, Michaella, Calvin, Norah Wu, Nolan, Luke Kochan, Isaiah, Abe, Rebekah Farrell, Ben, Reidun, Adia, Louis Clarke, Bobby, Lizzie Morgan, Jacob, Will, Jayden Smith, Oliver and Charlize Roepnack.

The family is indebted to the amazing care and comfort provided by both Joyce and our local Hospice and Palliative Care organization as John struggled with Parkinson's and asks anyone wishing to memorialize John make a contribution via hospicecareinc.org/donate-online.

“June 10 2021 Dear Joyce and Family, My condolences to all at this difficult time I have very fond memories of John during our youthful High School years and then at City College of New York where we were members of the Newman Club. I am indebted to John because he was very instrumental in my life. Sad to lose a friend.”
