Joan C. Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Davis (Newport, New York), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Cummings and Janetta Cummings (Magoon); her husband Stephen W. "Bud" Davis; her son Brad Davis; and her siblings, Richard, Jon, Scott Cummings and Bette Howlett.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Davis (Mary Ann) of Newport, Vallarie Yaworski (Todd) of Newport, Doreen Massey (Roger Dudgeon) of Ilion and Nicole Marcoccia (Robert LaFlam) of New Hampshire; her sister Mary Eagles of Ascutney, VT; her grandchildren, Lauryn Moore, Leah, Ashley Davis, Jacob, Jeffrey, Jordan Yaworski, Connor Massey and Sara Marcoccia; her great grandchildren, Jamison, Robby, Braxton, Stella, Sully, Chet and BlakeLea; and her close friends, Janet Owen, Ann LaFlam and Marge Markwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autenrith Funeral Home (7479 Main St, Newport, NY 13416).
