It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Niziol (Newport, New York), who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Grower and Lottie Grower (Masocco); her husband Walter J. Niziol; her siblings, John, Raymond Grower and Hilda Grower; and her close friends, Evelyn Wood and Elizabeth Heath.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Grower (Jodi) of Little Falls, Kevin DiFillippo (Kim) of Cold Brook, David Niziol (Genette) of Frankfort, Matthew Niziol (Jamie Derella) of Utica, Gina Skerritt of Utica and Lisa Morgan (Shawn) of Remsen; her stepsons, Jonathan of Dallas, TX and Kenneth Walter Niziol of Dallas, TX; her brother Michael Grower of Ilion; her grandchildren, Jason, Richie, Ryan, Brian Grower, Miranda, Jordan Niziol, Kory, Dakota Jackson, Evelyn Morgan (Jonathan Lawlor) and Rayna Niziol; and her great grandchildren, Jason Grower, Jr., Julianna Grower and Grace Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. E. Autenrith Sons, Inc. (7479 Main St, Newport, NY 13416). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
