Elizabeth R. Stewart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth R. Stewart (Newport, New York), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth R. Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Forbes and Georgianna Forbes (Brown); her husband Robert J. Stewart, Sr.; her sons, Robert Stewart Jr. and Scott Stewart; her grandchildren, Rodney, James Harvey and Meagan Stewart; and her siblings, Charles, Truman Forbes and Joyce Rotash.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Kane (Eric), Caroline Stewart, Sharon Kane (Scott), Helen Muller (Tom), Annie Weakley (Brad), Marilyn Conley (DP), Ronald Stewart (Monica) and Matthew Stewart (Tracy); and her sisters, Diane Schaffer (Russell) and Sandi Ludwig (Charlie). She is also survived by 56 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stewart (212 Graves Rd, Newport, NY 13416).
