Charles V. Salm Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vere Salm and Frances Salm (Eisley); his wife Alcenia M. "Babe" Champney; his sons, Calvin and Kyle Salm; and his son-in-law Joseph Scanlon.

He is survived by: his children, Clifford Munio (Linda) of Herkimer, Laura Cook (Mike) of Syracuse, Coneie Munio (Ann Marie) of Barneveld, Valerie Scanlon of Little Falls, Ronald Salm (Amy) of Newport, Lynette Munio of Newport, Darrell Salm (Nicole) of Poland, Brian Munio (Lori) of Seneca, PA and Lynn Salm (Kim) of Fairfield; his siblings, Joan Eisenhut (Walt) of Canastota, Donald Salm (Sandy) of Vernon Center and Mary Pickard (Howard) of Canastota; his grandchildren, Ben, Justin, Christine, Andy, Sara, Lee, Adam, Brittany, Kay, Chris, Erica, Rebecca and Janelle; and his close friend Rita Wagner of Vernon Center. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the W. E. Autenrith Sons, Inc. (7479 Main St, Newport, NY 13416). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
