She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Herkel and Caroline Herkel (Kaufka); her daughter Kathleen Wilkinson; her siblings, Mary Helmer, Ann Dietz, Henry, Joseph and Charles Herkel; her stepchildren, Susan (Joseph Pomichter) and Robert McMahon, Jr.; and her son-in-law Richard Burritt.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Bartholomew (Vincent) of Middletown, CT and Daniel McMahon (Diann) of Warners, NY; her grandchildren, Alex and Nicole McMahon; her stepdaughter Judith Burritt of Poland; her sister Betty Kaddell of Oneonta; and her foster daughters, Noreen Wiater (Gary) of Holland Patent and Sharon Wood of Rome. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
