She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Maher and Florence Maher (Faass); her siblings, Elizabeth Dolan, Walter, Jr. Maher and William Maher; her daughter-in-law Bernice Rae Plante; and her friend Margaret DuPrau (Weaver).
She is survived by: her children, Bank Teller, Walter Plante of Monroeton, PA, Chris Plante of Houston, TX, Cathy Plante of Poland, Tom Plante (Sandy) of Remsen and Margaret "Peg" Blais (Ken) of Foster, RI; her brother John Maher of Whitesboro; her grandchildren, Savanah River Plante, Emily, Jon Plante and Nathan Blais; her great grandchild Sheriff Paden Bufkin; her cousin Bob Faass of Utica; and her close friend Peggy Chapman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
