With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol G. Hartz (Newport, New York), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Griswold and Helen Griswold (Connor); her husband Charles Hartz; her children, Douglas Hughes and Wanda Bannerman; her siblings, James, Glenn Griswold and Evelyn Todd; and her close friend Frank Stocco.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Hughes of El Dorado, KS, Barbara Hughes of Phoenix, AZ and Kevin Hughes (Kyrie) of Newport; her siblings, Richard Griswold of Canton, CT, Howard Griswold (Mary) of Southington, CT and Glenda Robbins of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Emi, Eleanor, Rachel, Lindsey, Tyler and Alyssa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
