It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty R. Lamphere (Newport, New York), who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Huckabone and Gladys Huckabone (Dygert); her husband Jay C. Lamphere; her son Francis Lamphere; her siblings, Dorothy Lamphere, Claude, Nelson, Kenneth and Douglas Huckabone; and her granddaughter Heather Herringshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Williams (Michael) of Lenoir, NC, Diane Lamphere of Dolgeville, Debra Lamphere of Oppenheim, Charlene Lamphere (Roger) of Canastota, Bethany Lamphere of Remsen, Tracy Lamphere (Nicole) of Poland and Robert Lamphere (Jody) of Deerfield; her grandchildren, Steven, Jennifer, Brian, Jeffrey, Andrew, Jarred, Timothy, Joseph, Justin, Meagan, Robert, Kayden and Noah; her sisters-in-law, Jean Huckabone of Springfield Center and Jean Lamphere of Little Falls; her nephew Bob Huckabone; and her pet Rylee. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
