It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis James Mathews Jr. of Newfield, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Mathews; and his brother Jeff Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Gay; his niece Melissa Williams (Mathews); his nephews, Derrick Mathews, Steven Seeley and Richie Seeley; and his cousins, David Mathews and Sis Shoemaker (Mathews).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Bangs Funeral Home (209 W Green St, Ithaca, NY 14850).
