He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Sayles and Ruth A. Sayles; his son Kirk Sayles; and his brothers, Donald Sayles and Gordon Sayles.
He is survived by: his wife Darlea Sayles (Morey); his son Glenn Sayles; his sisters, Evelyn Hewitt (Bernard), Carol Anderson, Barbara Murphy and Deborah Gellene; and his aunt Lucille Sayles (George). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
