She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Frederick Underwood, Sr. and Lillian Underwood (Kline); her children, Randy Brainard (Linda) and Amy Cusimano (Cosmo); and her son-in-law Steven Welch.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Brainard (Rosie), Paul Tunison (Kathryn), Elena Welch and Leon Tunison (Patty). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
