She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bernecker Jr.; her son Daryl Scott Bernecker; her brother Gordon Hyde; and her parents, Elwyn Hyde and Ethel Hyde.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila McClew (David) and Laura Jean Gabriele (Robert); her grandchildren, Mason McClew of Cumberland Maryland, Melanie Thomas (Ryan) of Galena Ohio, Anthony Gabriele of Lewiston, Alyssa Gabriele of Chicago Illinois and Gillian Gabriele of Ransomville; and her great grandchildren, Blake and Caden Thomas.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (2699 Main St, Newfane, NY 14108).
Memorials may be made in her name to Mount St. Mary's Hospital Palliative Care Program at 5300 Military Road Lewiston New York 14092.
