Rose Race Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Race (Newfane, New York), who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Swendsen and Viola Swendsen (Skinner); and her siblings, Harriet Kuta (Swendsen), Clifford Swendsen, Alfred Swendsen, Dorothy Moreland (Swendsen), Mae Andes (Swendsen), Clara Swendsen, Robert Swendsen, Melvin Swendsen and Vera Swendsen.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Charles Ness; her siblings, Lester Swendsen, Arlene Heisner (Swendsen), Joan Felvus (Swendsen) and Adelaide Butler (Swendsen); her grandchildren, Rhonda McGee, Tecia Counihan (Sean), Roselle Murrell (Douglas) and Jonathan Ness (April); her great grandchildren, Tyler Lee, Tricia Lange (John), Anthony Krug, Jordan Krug (Marybeth), Nicholas Molisani, Zachary Murrell, Logan Murrell, Neala Ness and Brendan Counihan (Sara); and her great great grandchildren, Maleeya Dennis, Jordan Krug Jr., James Krug, Eleeyah Lange, Charlotte Counihan and Alexander Counihan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
