He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Heim Traverse; and his parents, Thomas Traverse and Helen Olscamp Traverse. He is survived by: his children, Michele Capen and Jeremy Traverse (Alicia); his grandchildren, Todd Capen, Brittney Capen (Rylie Bowman), Jacob Traverse, Madalyn Traverse, Jared Traverse and Anthony Sonberg (Jaime); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Gracelyn and Mackenzie; and his siblings, Thomas Traverse (Beverly), John Traverse (Karen) and Paul Traverse (Laurie).
