He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George W. French Sr. and Loretta French; his wife Dawn R. Smith; his brother Guy French; his stepsiblings, Wayne Braymiller, Donna Bowman, Sharon Witmer (John), Mavis (Norm) and Vaughn; his son Scott French (Jolene); his grandchildren, Jessica French and William French; and also Tracy Elwood (Scott). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
