He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyndaker and Anna Lyndaker; his wife Elsie; his daughter Cheryl; and his siblings, Earl, Harold, Gerald, Alba and Loretta.

He is survived by: his children, Carole Opett (Paul), Cheri Schenck (Brewster), Colleen Padilla (Martin), Claudia Krider (John), Charles Lyndaker, Connie Schmidt (Kevin) and Christa Tuttle (Dan). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
