It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Schaffer (Newfane, New York), born in Trevorton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Schaffer and Jacob Schaffer of Trevorton, PA; and his siblings, Mary Reitz (Herb), Allen Schaffer (Daisy) of Lockport, Harry Schaffer of Buffalo and Wayne Schaffer (Shirley) of York, PA..
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan, Karen, Shelly, Debbie and Beth; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kelsey, Victoria and Abby; and his great grandchild Andi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
