He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Garand and Katherine Garand (Ahrant); his siblings, Norman Garand Jr. and Geraldine Clark (Tom); and his sister-in-law Grace Garand.
He is survived by: his significant other Madeline Blanchette; his brother Maurice Garand; and also, Gertrude Valliere, Nicole Blanchette and Deena Jones. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
