She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Apfel and Betty Messinger-Apfel; her husband Harry Goldberg; her daughter Madelyn Goldberg; her grandchildren, Joshua and Marissa Goldberg; her brother Robert Apfel (Sheila); her sister-in-law Florence Apfel; her niece Shelley Goldberg; her cousin Mildred Gorenstein; her son David Lee Goldberg; and her brother Irving Apfel. She was also cherished by two sons, wives and children.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
