It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M Burton of Newburgh, New York, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Burton and Helen T. Feeley; his former wife Harriet Burton; and his sisters, Joan Burton and Marilyn Burton.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Michelle E. Gulla (Andrea) and Matthew E. Burton (Andrea); his grandchildren, Michael Burton, Logan Burton, Elizabeth Gulla, Nicholas Gulla and Moet Pucino; his brothers, Raymond Burton and Timothy Burton (Carol); his nieces, Erinn Lennon (Wayne) and Kristen Hergenhan; and his sister-in-law Mary Hergenhan. He is also survived by his family and friends.
