It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion F. Sheflin of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Serviss and Margaret Brown Serviss; her brothers, James W. Serviss, Harry C. Serviss and Gordon K. Serviss; and her husband Richard Sheflin.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Johnston (Johnny) of Leesburg, GA, John Sheflin (Gabi) of New Windsor, NY, Margaret Sheflin of Newburgh, NY and Marianne Sheflin Aurigemma of New Windsor, NY; her grandchildren, Lee Johnston III of Leesburg, GA, Natalie Bryant (Clayton) of Bullard, TX, Jennifer Saarinen (Barry) of Leesburg, GA and Michael Lease; her great grandchild Alyssa Bryant of Bullard, TX; her grandchildren, Lauren Bryant of Bullard, TX and Aiden Saarinen of Leesburg, GA; her cousin Robert F. Perrego (Bobby); and her caregivers, Linda, Phobie, Diane, Sandy and Liz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (93 Union Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553).
