It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Scandurra of Newburgh, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hernandez and Irene Hernandez (Walsh). She is survived by: her significant other Gerald Kowal; her children, Catherine Gould, Laurie Hurt, Bonnie Scandurra and John Scandurra; her grandchildren, George Ludlow, Bobby Ludlow, Jeffrey, Lisa Ludlow, Michael, Aimee Ludlow, Brian, Julie Ludlow and Oliver Hurt; and her great grandchildren, Heather Ludlow, Jeremy Ludlow, Anya Ludlow, Ethan Ludlow, Joey Crone and Austin Scandurra.
