She was predeceased by: her mother Isidra Hoyos Rodriguez; her siblings, Angel Ruiz Hoyos and Idelfonso Arismendy; her grandson Jose A. Soto; and also Ignacio Ruiz.
She is survived by: her husband Alvaro Vazquez Torres; and her children, Balbina, Jesus, Margarita, Veronica, Betty, Porfirio and Araceli. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
