He was predeceased by: his parent William Patterson; his stepson Harry Todd; his former wife Mary Bonura; and his brothers, Charles, Ralph Patterson and Kenneth Patterson (William Patterson).
He is survived by: his parent Allada Patterson (Terwilliger); his wife Theresa; his sons, Richard G. Patterson of Cocoa, FL and Frank J. Patterson (Lisa); his stepdaughters, Sandra Sutton of Newburgh and Sherry Deyo of New Windsor; his grandchildren, Lauren Patterson, MaryCatherine Patterson and Frank J. Patterson, Jr.; and his great grandchild Baillee Hibler.
