Ekaterini Prekas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ekaterini Prekas of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikitas Dallaris and Virginia Dallaris (Koutouzos); her husband Stamatios Prekas; and her brother-in-law Vasilios Halas. She is survived by: her nephews, Dimitrios "Jimmy" Halas, Nikitas Dalaris and Nikitas E. Dallaris; her children, Demosthenis Prekas, Nikitas Prekas, Evangelia Prekas and George Prekas (Denise); her grandchildren, Fotios Filacouris (Danielle), Stamatios Filacouris and Stamatis Prekas; her great grandchild Andonis Filacouris; and her siblings, Kalliopi Halas, Manolis Dallaris (Dina), Maria Mykoniati (Giakoumis), Dimitrios Dalaris (Stavroula) and Eleutherios Dallaris (Judith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
