It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Moores of Newburgh, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kurt G. Rauer and Florence Rauer (Mead); her husband Herbert S. Moores; and her son-in-law Tony Morales Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Morales of Marlboro, John Neilson (Joan) of Red Hook and Albert Neilson (Sandra) of Newburgh; and her grandchildren, Jessica Neilson (Kit Swain), Adam Neilson, Tony Morales III (Cindy), Nicole Dolan, Justin Vernooy and Amber Neilson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
