He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef Kobes and Anna Kobes; and his sister Marie Hutlas. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Kobes of Newburgh and Charles Kobes of Odessa, Texas; his grandchildren, Nicole, Frank, Fallon, Tara, Josef and Jack; his siblings, Krystyna Tompkins, Helen McGuiness, Zigmund Kobes and Robert Kobes; and his caregiver Helen Jandrasits.
