She was predeceased by: her parents, Josefina Rodriguez Rivera and Jesus Maria Rivera; her stepfather Sergio Rivera; her son Matthew Rodriguez, Jr. (Mateo Rodriguez); and her brothers, Carmelo Rodriguez, Sr., Gilberto Rivera and Anibal Rivera.
She is survived by: her daughter Naomi Rodriguez Asher (Louis Asher); her grandchildren, Raquel Rodriguez Asher (Colleen Ferguson), Gabrielle Rodriguez Asher (Davian Torres) and Jonathan Rodriguez Asher; her brother Leonardo Rivera (Migdalia Torres); and her pets, Diego, Dora, Max, Ruby and Fiona. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
