It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred R. Tragis Sr. (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tragis and Evelyn Tragis; his son David V Tragis Sr. (Teresa); and his siblings, Lucile Tragis-Mikucki and Joseph Tragis.
He is survived by: his wife Verna R. Tragis (Haynes); his children, Alfred R. Tragis Jr. (Tina), Evelyn J. Tragis-Wilson (James Wilson Sr.) and Steven Tragis; and his grandchildren, Nicole Tragis-Noreen (Sven), James Wilson Jr. (Teresa Goddard), Amanda Tragis-Cornell (Scott), Brianna Tragis-Koch (Mathew), Jessica Wilson-Holtz (Michael), David Tragis Jr. (Natalie), Allyson Wilson-Gordon (Graham), Steven Tragis Jr., Gabrielle Tragis, Jasmine Tragis, Kathy Williams (Robert) and Matthew Wilson (Brandy).
