She is survived by: her son Chris VerStraete (Erika); her grandson Cameron; and her siblings, Stuart Smith (Lena) of Texas, Sherry Carr (David) of Newark and Stephanie Sumislawski (John) of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
