He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Smith and June Smith (Chamberlin); and his wife Diane Smith. He is survived by: his children, Amy Smith (Miranda Holmes), Troy Smith and Adam Smith (Lili Daiss); and his siblings, Scott Smith (Yolanda) and Patti DiCicci-Smith (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
