With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Thomson of Newark, New York, born in Ogdensburg, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Fenton and Muriel Eleanor Newcombe Thomson; his wife Diane Bailey; his close friend Connie Frank; and his brother Billy Thomson.
He is survived by: his children, Trudi, Thomas (Kathy) of Naples, FL, Jay (Karen) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Jeffrey (Susanne) of Macedon, NY and James Thomson (Kelly) of Farmington, NY; and his brothers, Edward (Gail) of Raleigh, NC and Stephen Thomson (Marilyn) of Williamson, NY.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
