He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy VanDuyne and Margaret VanDuyne (Graham); his son-in-law Ricky Orsborne; and his siblings, Merton VanDuyne, Shirley Simmons, Muriel Blondell and Carol Wolf.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra VanDuyne (Orbaker); his children, Richard Jr. "Ricky" VanDuyne (Susan), Jeannette Boise, Mary VanDuyne and Julie Orsborne; and his grandchildren, Allen, Mya VanDuyne, Medina VanDuyne, Cassandra Everhart, Roxanne Peters, Dana Orsborne, Dustin Orsborne and Daniel Orsborne (Sandra).
