He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles DeVolder and Sue DeVolder (Kotvis); and his wife Joan. He is survived by: his children, Rick DeVolder Jr. (Shelley), Lisa Parkison (Doug) and Tina Gravino; his brother Jim DeVolder (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Joel, Lindsey, Derek, Jaime and Shaina; and his great grandchild Dominick.
