He is survived by: his children, Jeff, Mary Beth and Julie Beckens; his grandchildren, Jamie Hillegeer (Jared), Jeri Beckens (Colin) and Samantha Woodland (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Remington, Nora Hillegeer and Eleanor Woodland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
