It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Christopher O'Brien (Newark, New York), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John O'Brien and Doris Donie O'Brien; and his brother John O'Brien. He is survived by : his wife Gail; his children, David O'Brien (Mary) and Linda Montouri (Paul); his stepchildren, Kellyn Brightman and Chaston Brightman (Holly); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Alayna, Olivia, McKinley, Gage and Reed. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the East Newark Cemetery (410 Vienna St, Newark, NY 14513).
