She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Matthys and Cora Matthys (Van De Velder); and her brother Richard Matthys. She is survived by: her children, Denice Minier (Al Schober), Terri Bushart-Briggs (Dennis), Scott Bushart and Stephanie Hurst; her close friend Patrick Gannon; her grandchildren, Justin (Alisha), Ethan Minier (Teagan), Alexa Wessie, Zachary Bushart, Alicia Figueroa, Blade and Dustin Case; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Chase, Adalyn and Ezra Minier; and her siblings, Donald Matthys (Erika) and Shirley Warner (Kenny).
