She is survived by: her husband Franklin'Frank'Wheeland; her children, Steven Mattscheck, Christina Furman (Les), Tracey Swansbrough (Don Jr.), Melissa Wheeland, Beverly Wheeland (Roger Walburn) and Tamara Wheeland (Mike Morse); her grandchildren, Franklin, Nicholas, Russell, Roxanne, Brandon, Ashley, Tori, Marissa (Dylan), Max, Ryan, Micheal (Leah), Ruthanne (Chase), Abigail (Chris), Gracie, Michael and Alysha; her pet May; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Gabriella, Jullianna, Ellyannah, Tate and Kaylon; her siblings, Ed Mattscheck, Kevin Durant (Jill), Ken Durant, Gary Mattscheck, Nancy Trout (David), Grace Rautine (Mike) and Teresa Steigler; her in-laws, Debra Judson (Tom), Judy Alexander (Paul), Nate Keener (Tina), Christopher Keener and Leroy Wheeland (Michelle); and her pet George. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MacPherson Funeral Home (5 Whig St, Newark Valley, NY 13811). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
