He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Briggs and Hazel Briggs; and his siblings, Ken Briggs (Dorothy), Carl Briggs (Doris), Helen McCabe (Vincent), Jim Briggs (Marion), Harold Briggs and Norman Briggs.
He is survived by: his brother David Briggs (Mary). He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may kindly be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, or another charity of choice in loving memory of Roy.
